Note: This course is offered through the ARRL Online Course Catalog normally costing $50 – $85 depending on ARRL membership. But Steve Nowak is a certified Field Instructor and is not charging for the training class. The only cost is for taking the final exam which is required by ARRL for only $15 for the examination fee.

CARES will be hosting the ARRL EmComm Training sessions at the CARS clubhouse & will be open to all amateur radio operators. If you are interested in attending these classes you will need to take the following online FEMA Emergency Courses. If you have not already done so, please go to the following FEMA website and apply for your FEMA SID # which you must have to take the online courses and exams for the prerequisites to the upcoming class.
