Congratulations Van. Very well deserved award.
Van is a very active and indispensable member of the CARS team. For the past two years he has been the best secretary we could ever ask for. As well as being actively involved in CARES in all the emergency communications preparations.
Van embodies the spirit of Bob Armstrong who was our obvious choice to dedicate the Ham of the Year award to many moons ago.
Thank you Van for all you do for CARS and for advancing amateur radio.
