Historic St. Luke’s Church in Smithfield offering 2-for-1 admission in February

I know this is not amateur radio related, but we know a lot of people love the history of the area and wanted to pass along this information about St. Luke’s Church:

The Historic St. Luke’s Church in Smithfield is offering a two-for-one admission special for February. It is the church’s “757 Appreciation Month” and is open to residents in the 757 area code. The usual $8 price will cover two people for the 45-minute guided tour.

St. Luke’s Church is the state’s oldest church building. The 45-minute walking tour covers more than 481 years of history and includes discussions about early life in the Virginia colony and abroad.

  1. Been there, done that. Absolutely worth the full price! And half price makes it even better. Then lunch or drinks at Smithfield Station in town, or Capt. Chuck-a-mucks in Rescue near the old Nike base / park. – Paul K4PRB
