Taming the MFJ-226 Data File

As with many other hams, I am morbidly preoccupied with my antenna systems and how to get the best performance from them. In particular, I want to be able to compare different antennas or the same antenna system under different conditions; including plotting the SWR (standing wave ratio) and other parameters as a function of frequency. Using a conventional antenna analyzer, this task is tedious because of the need to record the many data points and vulnerable to increased error during transcription. For a long time I have lusted in my heart after a VNA (vector network analyzer).
