CARS is not having a fall Technician licensing class, however, Virginia Beach Amateur Radio Club has put together a class for the end of September.
The classes will be held at the Ocean Park Rescue Squad, 3769 E. Stratford Road in Virginia Beach off of Shore Drive near the Lesner bridge.
The schedule:
Fri, 9/30 6-9pm
Sat, 10/1 9am-4pm
Sat 10/8 9am-noon
Exam session Sat, 10/8, 1-4pm
The main class will be 9/30 and 10/1. A follow-up question/answer/review will be held in the morning on 10/8 before the exam session.
This class will be open to the general public. Training material is provided. There is a $15 exam fee collected at the time of the exam and a photo ID is required.
