The Monday general meeting with auction was a lot of fun and very successful.
The club raised funds which will offset the loss of Springfest this year, and everyone had a very good time. Lots of equipment found new homes and I just want to thank everyone who came out to support a good cause!
Don’t forget this Saturday will be our CARES Meeting for emergency communications and in the early afternoon we will be having an exam session to help those in the tech class their licenses. This exam session is open to all so if you want to perform an upgrade to your license, you do not have to have been in the class for an exam. We do ask that folks who wish to take an exam come at 1:30 pm so the registration paperwork can be filled out and prepare you for your exam.
Please contact Paul Buckwalter, K4PRB or Bill Runyon, WF4R, if you have any questions about the upcoming exam session. Paul’s email is k4prb@arrl.net and Bill’s is wf4r@arrl.net.
The next public service event will be supporting the Tour de Cure for the American Diabetes Association near the end of April in Suffolk, VA. For more information find the Tour de Cure page under the public service tab in the menu above.
